actually, i'll be leaving for oak ridge one week from tomorrow (hopefully).
work in the lab is starting to wind down and i've been working on my presentation for our summer research symposium. i've also exerted a considerable amount of mental energy trying to figure out where all of the crap i can't take with me is going. i need to pare it down to a single carload, which isn't for easy for me to do. what can i say, i like my stuff!
i got to talk to mark a couple of days ago! he seems awesome, and super chill. we talked a little bit about hydropower and a little bit about hiking and a little bit about logistics.
that's about it. nothing too exciting.
